Shir Grunebaum is a recent graduate from the Master's Program in Science and Technology Studies (STS) at York University. Her research interests are specialized in people with disabilities and those experiencing rare diseases, innovative funding and research pathways, and the different ways that private and public partnerships can be harnessed to better support these communities.

Her research is informed at the intersection of the field of science and technology studies, disabilities studies, and social science research methodologies.
